Our Producers
FWC prioritises food that’s good for our bodies – organic foods, fresh from the farm or out of the oven made from produce that have little to no pesticides in their production.
But it’s not just important for us to be healthy, we want to know that the chickens laying our eggs are happy and our farmers and producers get a fair price. We also want to make sure our kids have a healthy future as well, which means prioritising sustainable and eco-friendly products.
We also purchase in bulk to minimise packaging, especially plastic waste. Most of our producers use compostable packaging and all our producers share our values when it comes to making conscious decisions about our environment.
Only a few of our product suppliers are sourced overseas. Niulife for coconut produce, Wild Timor for coffee and Loving Earth for cacao. Although we prefer to source our products locally, we have made an exception for these staples, which you can’t grow sustainably here in Australia.
Both Niulife and Wild Timor are social enterprises with their profits going directly back into the communities their produce is sourced from. Loving Earth’s cacao is fair trade and their goal is to help their growers achieve financial independence. All three producers grow their products organically.
