Chocolate bliss balls

Here’s a great recipe for chocolate bliss balls, using local ingredients. You can add more almond butter in place of less sultanas if you’d like them less sweet. Or add honey for those with an extra sweet tooth. They are a great healthy snack and super easy to make.

1/3c coconut flakes

1/2c sultanas

1/3c almond butter

1/3c walnut kernels

2tsp cacao

1tbsp coconut oil, melted

Pinch pink lake salt

Hemp seeds to coat the balls

  1. Blitz coconut flakes in a food processor or blender into a course meal.
  2. Add rest of ingredients to the blender and blitz till you have a nut butter type consistency. If the mix is too crumbly, add more oil or nut butter. If it’s too wet add more nuts or coconut.
  3. Make into small balls and roll in hemp seeds.
  4. Best kept in the fridge until ready to eat. You can also freeze them.
