We need to have an AGM because we’re an incorporated association, but mostly the evening is about getting together in a relaxed setting, with food and drink available, to talk about what makes the Collective good, and how we can make it better. Our funding runs until the end of June 2023, and we need to increase our customer base before then to be able to carry on.

Bring a friend! It’s a great chance to be social AND support two local community groups.

So come on down and tell us what you think. Yes, there will be a bit of meeting-speak, but it’s very informal. What’s most important is that people let us know how they’d like to help. You might want to join the committee – which isn’t scary, and doesn’t require expertise, just enthusiasm – or offer to pick up the bread once a month. Many hands make light work, and lots of help makes the Collective thrive.

Agenda (otherwise known as what we’ll be chatting about)
– Let’s introduce ourselves and acknowledge the traditional owners of the land – approx 5 min
– Confirm that the minutes from last AGM are an accurate record – approx 1 min
– Kat will give us some highlights of what the Collective has been doing this year, and touch on some of the challenges lying ahead – 10 mins max
– Update on finances – 10 mins max
– Vote on Committee positions – approx 5 mins (If you’d like to be on the committee, or have a vote, fill out a membership form here)
– Open discussion: over drinks and snacks, we want to hear about what’s working well, what isn’t working well, and toss around ideas about how to keep the Collective running beyond our funding period, which runs out June 2023
